Thanks to everyone who came out to the 2006 East Cooper Coastal Triathlon.
Conditions were perfect, the competition was fierce and friendly, and a good
time was had by all! Entries from the the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida,
Tennessee, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wyoming, Nevada, and
Oregon sure make a statement about what a great destination the East Cooper
and Charleston area is.
The increase in numbers to 152 individuals strongly suggests that nexts
year's race will fill out. Our capacity limit this year was 170. Watch for
registration to begin January 1, 2007.
The date for the Coastal Triathlon is somewhat locked in between the end of
the cooler water temperatures and the beginning of beach season. Next year's
triathlon, if we stay with the same general weekend, would be Sunday April
22, 2007. This date will be confirmed in the next couple of months so check
back for verification.
Thanks again for coming out this weekend; be careful in your training and
see you this summer at the Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series.

the "C" column next to the participants name.
